Summer has worked in the wedding industry for several years doing everything from photography, to catering, to baking cakes, to planning. She has worked as a planner now for five years, and in planning a wedding, she truly feels that she is not simply bringing together a beautiful event but also walking alongside the bride and groom as they begin a strong and Christ-honoring marriage. The heart of wedding day is the ceremony where the marriage will mirror Christ's love for His bride, the Church. It's followed by a party attended by all the people loved the most as they celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs.! There's just no other day like it!

 

Summer's passion is making wedding day as lovely and stress-free as possible while honoring Christ and encouraging and supporting the bride and groom and their families as they enter this exciting season.

 

Naturally, Summer has a passion for the seasons, and she loves the way they add to wedding design. Florals, colors, and textures that pay homage to the beauty of spring, summer, autumn, or winter add so much to wedding design.

Summer grew up on a small farm, with 3 younger siblings, chickens, cats, a dog, and rows upon rows of blueberry bushes. Her mother is known for her southern hospitality, and she and Summer often host parties together, whether it be a dinner on the lawn with torches and twinkle lights or an afternoon tea with fancy dishes and desserts.

 

When summer is not hosting or coordinating an event, she loves to write, read, cook, knit, fish, hike, travel, and spend time with friends and family!
